Segovia is my favorite city in all of Spain and Castile – winding alleyways, Romanesque churches around every corner, pedestrian streets where no cars go, the smell of roast suckling pig, the shops – all surrounded by the city’s medieval wall bordered by two rivers and a green-belt park.

Segovia’s favorite attraction is the aqueduct, but one of my favorites is the nighttime view of the main cathedral off the Plaza Major.
