How We See the World

It’s not what we look at that matters, it’s what we see.
Henry David Thoreau

Color is literally a figment of your imagination. It does not exist, except in the way we perceive objects. That is why everyone is up in arms about a dress that to some is blue and black, to others gold and white. And how we see the world, and how the world sees us, is not as important as how we choose to see.

If we see color so differently, what does that mean for how we perceive each other? And how we perceive ourselves?

The answer is anyway you want.
