Sometimes you have to brag about the home team.
The Wichita State University Shockers basketball team under head coach Gregg Marshall went 31-0, defeating Southern Missouri at home. The final score was 68-45. This was senior night for players Chadrack Lufile, Nick Wiggins, Cleanthony Early, and Kadeem Colby.
Wichita is the first team since St. Joe’s in 2003-2004 to go unbeaten in the regular season, and the first team ever in the history of college basketball to go 31-0. “We are the epi-center of basketball,” Coach Gregg Marshall said, “Now it is on to St. Louis.”
