Walnut Grove Round Great Room

Walnut Grove

From the 1895 founding of The Chalk and Chisel Club, America’s first Arts and Crafts society, in Minneapolis, until today, the Arts & Crafts movement has not only blossomed but flourished, a celebration of the beauty of design and materials, plus the quality of craftsmanship.

Today, the look is modern and contemporary. It is a reflection of the wood’s natural beauty, the designer who creates the look, and the artistry of the workman who makes the piece.

Walnut Grove Round Great Room

In Walnut Grove, Stickley’s head of design, Marissa Brown, showcases an inspired modern design with moments of sophisticated handwork for a unique look. Contours are carefully sculpted, and structural elements are set apart to incorporate air and create a natural lightness.

Each piece is made with solid American black walnut. Then a craftsman applies a transparent finish that reveals the grain in all its beauty and complexity. Natural variations, from differences in grain pattern to a deepening of color over time, mean that pieces will vary slightly in tone—a mark of authenticity in the very best solid wood furniture. Walnut Grove is a visually rich collection that seems to have traveled directly from the craftsman’s bench to your home.
